Background
Where it came from
Kwiff launched in 2017 under Eaton Gate Gaming, licensed by the Gambling Commission, and made its name on the sportsbook side with a mechanic it called supercharged odds — bets selected at random for an unannounced price improvement. Whatever you make of the idea, it gave a new operator a genuine point of difference in a market where most sportsbooks are interchangeable.
The casino grew out of that. It shares the same account and the same app, sitting a tab away from the sports markets, which is a sensible piece of design if you use both and a slight oddity if you only ever want the slots.
Content and live tables
Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO carry most of the slot line-up, with Evolution running the live floor. The catalogue is large without being exhaustive — comparable to PokerStars Casino in size, some way behind NetBet, and lacking the newer independent studios that give Casumo its edge on freshness.
What the app does well is speed. Category switching is immediate, the live lobby loads without a stall, and returning to a game after backgrounding the app is reliable. It is the sort of behaviour you only notice when it goes wrong somewhere else.

Phone players who want sports and casino under one login, and who value a quick, well-behaved app over the widest possible game selection. On that basis Kwiff is one of the better options in the British market, and the 8.5 reflects it.
Desktop players should look elsewhere. The full-size layout has never had the attention the app gets, and it shows in wasted space and a lobby that feels scaled up rather than designed. PokerStars Casino handles the same job considerably better.
One thing to watch
A shared sports and casino wallet is convenient, but it also means a session can drift from one product to the other without any deliberate decision.
